 Lubricants for Non-Ferrous Wire
Sold under the trademark Chemdraw®, these outstanding products are primarily wet lubricants. The main market for them is the copper industry, although we do have lubricants that are used for aluminum wire.
One excellent feature of these wet lubricants is that they require very little in the way of tank side additions to achieve long sump lives. Amongst our specialties are wet lubricants for stranding, bunching and armoring.
Applications include:
- Drawing of copper wire and steel cord for tires
- Weaving of fencing and other woven mesh products
- Copper clad aluminum and steel
Our lubricants for copper are made under a license agreement with Zeller + Gmelin.
